extremely simple to prepare and always tasty, pesto is one of the aces up your sleeve to please all palates. in addition to the classic ligurian and sicilian pesto, you can unleash your creativity and decline it in as many variations as you can imagine.

here are three ideas to try:

arugula, avocado and lime pesto.
fresh and creamy, perfect to welcome the arrival of the warm seasons. we imagine it as the star of an outdoor picnic.

pistachio, parsley and pecorino romano pesto.
the nuttiness of pistachios and the savory notes of pecorino romano intertwine with the brightness of parsley: an interesting and impressive combination.

sun-dried cherry tomatoes, anchovies, garlic and capers pesto.
it's impossible to go wrong when you mix the strong, bold flavors typical of the mediterranean. this bold pesto also stands out on croutons.
