Used with DROID, Kabuto creates a vacuum inside the bottle in seconds, helping preserve the aromas, balance and structure of opened still wine for longer.

Choose ECO to protect its aromatic profile over the next few days or PRO for maximum preservation. No needles, gas or refills – just two reusable stoppers designed to perform bottle after bottle.

Vacuum modes: PRO and ECO, up to 95% air removed.

F.a.q.

Do I need DROID to use Kabuto?

Yes. Kabuto stoppers create the seal, but DROID is the device that generates the vacuum. DROID is sold separately – if you don't already own one, the Wine Preservation System bundle includes both.

What's included in the Kabuto set?

Two Kabuto stoppers and two matching colored rings. DROID and the charging kit are not included – Kabuto stoppers are sold as an accessory to an existing DROID device.

What wines can I use Kabuto with?

Any still wine – red, white or rosé. Kabuto isn't suitable for sparkling or fizzy wines, since the stopper is designed to hold a vacuum, not contain pressure.

How long does wine stay fresh once resealed?

More than 10 days on average, depending on the wine, how much is left in the bottle, and storage conditions.

How long does the vacuum cycle take?

About 5 seconds on average to reseal a bottle – much faster than the food container cycle, since there's far less air to remove from a wine bottle.

Are Kabuto stoppers dishwasher-safe?

Yes. We recommend removing the colored rings before washing, to best preserve their shine and color quality over time.

What color options are available?

This set is from the Dragon collection. Kabuto is also available in other colorways as part of the wider BIPOD range.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping is free on orders over €100. For Italy: €9.20 (4-5 business days). For the UK: £26.00 (5-6 business days). For the rest of Europe: €21.50 (5-6 business days).

What is your warranty policy?

All BIPOD products are covered by a 24-month warranty, including free replacement in the event of manufacturing defects, malfunctions, or damage identified upon delivery. The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, improper use, negligence, or modifications made to the product.
