What are they?

Certified compostable vacuum bags for everyday food storage. Equipped with a high-performance barrier, they protect food for a long time without resorting to non-recyclable plastics.

Do they work with the vacuum system?

No, the compostable bags have a zip that allows an airtight seal, but they are not suitable for vacuum storage and the DROID is not needed to use them.

How can I use them?

They are perfect for storing food in the pantry, fridge or freezer, maintaining the breathability needed to limit condensation.

How many bags are included in the kit?

The kit includes 10 bags: 4 small, 4 medium and 2 large. Compostability The certified compostable freshness bags are food-contact safe and heat-sealable. They break down within 12 weeks under industrial composting conditions, returning value to the earth.

How many times can a bag be used?

BIPOD compostable freshness bags are designed to be single-use, but for some dry foods (e.g. pasta, rice, nuts, bread, etc.) they can be reused several times with no risk.

What do the illustrations on the compostable bags represent?

The illustrations depict moon bears and sun bears, species we help protect by supporting Animals Asia, an important organization dedicated to rescuing bears farmed for bile extraction for the pharmaceutical industry. For every order received, we donate part of the proceeds to Animals Asia. We chose to dedicate the illustrations on our compostable bags to these magnificent animals, as a symbol of our commitment to their wellbeing and protection.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping is free on orders over €100. For Italy: €9.20 (4-5 business days). For the UK: £26.00 (5-6 business days). For the rest of Europe: €21.50 (5-6 business days).

What is your warranty policy?

All BIPOD products are covered by a 24-month warranty, including free replacement in the event of manufacturing defects, malfunctions, or damage identified upon delivery. The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, improper use, negligence, or modifications made to the product.
